Screaming Eagles Cut Seven Additional Players

Sydney - The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles made seven additional cuts following their 4-3 win over the Halifax Mooseheads Sunday afternoon. The players released include five forwards, one defenseman, and one goaltender.
Forwards released include free agents Jacob Smith (95/01/30), Stephen Sisco (96/02/04), and Vincent Beaudry (97/03/07), along with 2014 draft picks Emmanuel Proulx (97/08/08) and David Caza (98/09/08). The defenseman released was Pascal Corbeil (98/01/21). Corbeil was drafted by the Screaming Eagles in the second round of the QMJHL entry 2014 draft.
Goaltender Francis Lavallee (97/02/02) was the final goaltender to be cut. Lavalee was recently acquired in a trade with the Sherbrooke Pheonix.
The Screaming Eagles training camp rosters now sits at 24 players including two goaltenders, eight defensemen, and 14 forwards.
