NORMAL, Ill. - The Normal CornBelters cruised to an 11-0 win against the Gateway Grizzlies Wednesday night at the Corn Crib.

Normal scored 11 runs on 14 hits while cruising to their second straight win against Gateway (45-32). The Grizzlies collected only five hits while getting shutout for the fifth time on the season and second time this week.

CornBelters starting pitcher Cullen Babin (6-6) fired his league-leading fourth complete game. He walked one and struck out one.

Grizzlies starting pitcher Kerry Kelley (3-5) allowed eight runs on 10 hits in his five innings.

Normal (37-39) started their scoring with three runs in the second inning. Aaron Dudley hit a two-run home run and Jorge Chavarria brought in his first run as a professional on a fielder's choice.

Normal scored a run a double play in the fourth inning and four more in the fifth inning on a Sam Judah RBI single and a Dudley three-run home run to make the score 8-0.

Mike Schwartz hit a three-run home run in the eighth inning to finish off the scoring.

The Grizzlies and CornBelters conclude their series Thursday night. Right-hander Aaron Newcomb (9-5) will make the start for the Grizzlies at 7:00.
