Connecticut Sun to Spotlight Autism Awareness

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (August 13, 2014) - The Connecticut Sun announced today it will host Autism Night as part of its Community Spotlight program during the game against the Washington Mystics Friday night at Mohegan Sun Arena.

With the help of many other proud supporters of Autism Speaks, a silent auction to benefit the Southeastern Connecticut Walk Now For Autism Speaks will take place on the Arena concourse during the game.

Founded in 2005, Autism Speaks has grown into the nation's largest autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the cause, prevention, treatments and cure for autism while also increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
