2014 Conexus Warriors & Legends Hall of Fame Inductees Announced

The Moose Jaw Warriors are pleased to announce this year's inductees into the Conexus Warriors and Legends Hall of Fame. Reed Low and Scott Schoneck enter the Hall of Fame in the Players Category, in the Builders Category Doug Hetherington will be inducted.
Reed Low suited up for his hometown Warriors from 1995 to 1997, he had 28 goals and 46 points in 123 career regular season games, hi 449 penalty minutes ranks 12th in Warriors history. He was selected in the seventh round, 177th overall, by the St. Louis Blues in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. He went on to play 256 games in the NHL, he had three goals, 19 points, and 725 penalty minutes.
Low retired in 2007 and resides in St. Louis with his wife Dena and four children. In addition to his full-time career with Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers, he remains active with the Blues Alumni Association, provides color commentary for Fox Sports Midwest, and participates in several local charity events. Low also coaches youth hockey and conducts private lessons, he also runs "Reed Low's Training Camp - Practice Like A Pro... With The Pro's".
Scott Schoneck was a steady presence on the Moose Jaw Warriors blueline from 1995 to 2000. He suited up in 283 regular season games, scoring 53 goals and finishing with 209 points. He is the Warriors all-time scoring leading among defenceman, and his 156 career assists is fourth all-time.
After graduating from the WHL, Schoneck attended the University of Saskatchewan. He played five seasons for the Huskies, 153 games scoring 30 goals and totalling 97 points. He graduated from the U of S with a Bachelor of Arts Business Economics degree. He has worked for PepsiCo Foods Canada for the last six years, Schoneck is the National Account Manager and looks after the Federated Co-op business in Western Canada. He also played two seasons with the Las Vegas Wranglers in the East Coast Hockey League, in 115 games he had 12 goals and 68 points.
Doug Hetherington served on the Moose Jaw Warriors Board of Directors from 2004 to 2011, during his time on the board he served as the teams Alternate Governor. Hetherington was an original member of the Multiplex Builders Group, and was one of many who had a major role in making the project a reality. He passed away January 16, 2011.
The Conexus Warriors and Legends Hall of Fame Weekend will take place November 28 and 29. Friday, November 28th Low, Schoneck, and Hetherington will be inducted at a ceremony held at the Heritage Inn. Tickets for this event will go on sale August 26 and will be available at the Warriors Office. Individual tickets are priced at $50, with tables of eight available for $400.
Saturday, November 29th will be the 2nd Annual Hall of Fame Game when the Warriors host the Saskatoon Blades. The inductees will be honoured on this evening in a pre-game ceremony.
