Draft Pick Marshall Moise Commits to Ferris State

MUSKEGON, Michigan (August 12th) - The Mu skegon Lumberjacks are excited to announce that recent draft pick in Forward Marshall Moise has made his college commitment to play for the Bulldogs of Ferris State University out of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) following his junior career.

Moise, the St. Clair Shores, Michigan native, was drafted by the Lumberjacks in the 16th round (254th overall) during the 2014 USHL Phase Two Draft and spent last season with the Victory Honda Midget Minor team totaling 12 goals and 14 assists in 36 games played.

During the 2012-13 season, Moise suited up as a sophomore for the Lakers of St. Clair Shores Unified and finished second on the team with 18 points in 25 games played while being the only player on his team to amass double digit goals on the season with 13. Following the season, Moise was the only Laker selected to the Macomb Area Conference Red Division All-Conference Team.

In addition, Moise played in 11 games during the 2011-12 season with the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies Major Bantam team recording two assists. The future Bulldog will begin the 2014-15 season on the Lumberjacks' affiliate list.
