Bandits Set to Host a Pair of Auctions

BUFFALO, NY (August 11, 2014) --- The Buffalo Bandits today announced that the club will host two online auctions to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and Buffalo Jr. Bandits Youth Lacrosse Program. All items can be bid upon via Bandits.com beginning Monday, August 11th at 7 p.m..

The first auction, which is set to benefit the JDRF, will include game-worn and signed jerseys as well as select shorts from the Bandits' St. Patrick's Day outing on March 15th against the Colorado Mammoth. Bidding for the first jersey will end on Sunday, August 24th at 7 p.m., while the auctions for each subsequent set of shorts and jerseys are scheduled to conclude in five-minute intervals afterwards.

In addition, the auction items with proceeds to benefit the Buffalo Jr. Bandits Youth Lacrosse Program will all end at 9 p.m. on Sunday, August 24th and include the following:

- Game-worn and issued jerseys and shorts, including goalie-cuts

- Game-used and autographed equipment, including gloves and stick shafts

- Locker stall nameplates

- Paul Rabil autograph

- Nik Wallenda autographed and framed photo

- Jim Brown autographed and framed lithograph

- Bandits team and individual player autographed photos

- Unique and custom-made John Tavares jersey, autographed by both Bandits and New York Islanders players
