The Ogden Raptors dropped the series finale to the Helena Brewers 7-3 Sunday at Lindquist Field.
With the Raptors trailing 1-0 in the fourth inning, the Brewers broke the game open with four runs. Mitch Meyer started the inning with a double to right field. Tucker Neuhaus and Dionis Hinojosa followed with consecutive singles to score a run. After Edgardo Rivera sacrificed runners to second and third, Gregory Munoz drove them in with a two-run double to left. Three batters later, Alan Sharkey hit his second RBI single to put Helena up 5-0.
The Brewers put the game out of reach in the sixth. Munoz started the inning by reaching on an error by pitcher Karch Kowalczyk. Two batter later, Munoz stole second, reached third on a balk, and came home on a sacrifice fly by Brandon Diaz. Sharkey followed with a home run to right field. The solo shot was Sharkey's first of his career.
The Raptors will enjoy an off day Monday before traveling to Missoula for the first of a three-game series against the Osprey. J.D. Underwood is scheduled to pitch for Ogden. Game starts at 7:05 and can be heard on 97.5 The Zone.
