Sea Dogs Release Training Camp Roster

SAINT JOHN - The Saint John Sea Dogs have released their roster for the opening of training camp on Monday, August 11th.

Forty-seven players are expected to compete for spots on the Sea Dogs' tenth anniversary club.

Most players are scheduled to register for camp on Sunday, with on-ice sessions beginning Monday morning at 10 a.m. at Harbour Station. A schedule for the first two days of training camp is available by clicking HERE.

New players include the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's 2014 first overall draft pick, defenceman Luke Green, his twin brother forward Matt Green, and Sea Dogs' first-rounder Julien Tessier.

The list of returnees is highlighted by the all-time leader for wins by a goaltender in Sea Dogs' history, two-time team MVP Sebastien Auger. Defenceman Olivier LeBlanc, who was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2014 NHL Draft, will also be at training camp.

Overage defenceman Michael Abbott has informed the Sea Dogs he will not be attending training camp. More free agent invitations could be announced next week.

The Sea Dogs' first preseason game is Friday, August 15th, against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles at 7 p.m. at Harbour Station. Tickets for the game are FREE, and are available now at the Harbour Station Box Office.

Season tickets are on sale now at the Harbour Station box office and the Sea Dogs' office on the pedway level of Harbour Station. Season ticket holders can SAVE up to $170 on their seats when compared with single-game box office prices.
