Tampa, FL - The Tampa Yankees will play the Brevard County Manatees in their fourth doubleheader of the season on Wednesday, August 6 at George M. Steinbrenner Field.
August 6 will also be Hi-Chew Kids Night Wednesday at the ballpark. All children (ages 14 & under) get a FREE hot dog, bag of cracker jacks & small soda with the purchase of a reserved ticket, and the kids will have the opportunity to run the bases after the game.
The first game will be played at 5:00 pm, & the second game will follow 30 minutes after the completion of the first contest.
The Yankees have faced the Manatees nine times earlier this season with a 4-5 record. Both teams have been evenly matched so far this second half; the Yankees currently hold a record of 21-22 while the Manatees are one game ahead of them at 20-20 in the Florida State League's North Division as of August 5.
In order to receive the ticket/food deals, fans must purchase tickets at the Steinbrenner Field box office. Ticket prices start at $4 for General Admission and $6 for Reserved Seating.
