RHP Tony Bucciferro promoted to Double-A Birmingham

The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:

- RHP Tony Bucciferro promoted to Double-A Birmingham from Winston-Salem

- LHP Jefferson Olacio promoted to Double-A Birmingham from Winston-Salem

- RHP Brandon Brennan promoted to Winston-Salem from Low-A Kannapolis

- RHP Brandon Hardin assigned to Winston-Salem from Double-A Birmingham

Bucciferro posted a 7-10 record and a 3.90 earned run average in 21 starts with Winston-Salem. He currently stands third in all of High-A baseball in innings pitched with 129.1. On July 20 at Frederick, Bucciferro fell two outs shy of the first solo, nine-inning no-hitter by a Winston-Salem hurler since 1988.

Olacio is 0-5 with a 4.69 ERA in 29 appearances (four starts) with the Dash. He has struck out 58 batters in 55.2 innings of work.

Brennan is 3-1 with a 2.89 ERA in eight starts between Great Falls and Low-A Kannapolis. He is expected to join Winston-Salem's rotation.

Hardin returns to Winston-Salem after making 16 appearances with Double-A Birmingham. With the Dash, Hardin boasted a 1.32 ERA in 14 appearances.
