Mohawks Set PGCBL Win Record; Open Playoffs Friday

The Amsterdam Mohawks broke their own PGCBL record for wins in a season Tuesday night with a 20-5 thrashing of the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs. The Mohawks finished the 2014 season with a 36-11 record, topping the 2012 mark, set by themselves, of 35-12.
They open the playoffs Friday night at 6:35 against the winner of Thursday's Albany/Mohawk Valley game. It will be a best of three series with the Mohawks playing a road game Saturday and possibly a winner take all, game three Sunday back at Shuttleworth.
