THE ROCHESTER RED WINGS saw a 6-0 lead after 7 innings evaporate over the final two frames as the Lehigh Valley IronPigs scored 5 runs in the 8th and 3 more in the 9th off the Wings bullpen to pull off an improbable, 8-6, win Wednesday afternoon snapping their season-long 10-game losing streak. Despite the loss, the Wings went 4-2 over their 6-game homestand and now embark on a 10-game, 11-day road trip beginning tomorrow night in Lehigh Valley.

- TREVOR MAY continued his dominance at Frontier Field this season as he tossed 6 2/3 shutout innings in his first start at home since June 16. Over his last 6 starts at home, May is 5-0 with a 0.22 ERA (1 ER/41.0 IP)...For the year, May is 5-1 with a 1.28 ERA in 9 starts at Frontier Field...Wednesday marked the 13th time in 16 starts this season that May allowed 5 or fewer hits as the opposition is hitting just .208 against him -- good for 2nd best in the IL.

- DEIBINSON ROMERO (2-4; HR, R, RBI) gave the Wings a 1-0 lead in the second inning with a solo home run to straightaway center field -- his team-leading 8th homer of the season but just his first since July 2...The homer extended his home on-base streak to 27 games over which he is hitting .322 (29-for-90) with an OBP of over .440...The 27 game home on-base streak is the longest active streak in the league and 2 games behind the longest of the season (SYR's Steven Souza, Jr., 29).

- JOSMIL PINTO (1-4; HR, R, 2 RBI) hit his 3rd home run of the homestand (6 games) and 5th in 28 games for the Wings in the 4th inning. The 2-run shot gave Rochester a 3-0 lead. Pinto now has 12 homers in 71 games this season combined between Minnesota and Rochester...The Wings catcher has picked up 11 RBI over his last 8 games, after having just 7 RBI in his first 20 game with the Wings this season.

- DOUG BERNIER (1-5; 2B, 2 RBI) extended his season-long hitting streak to 10 games with a 2-run double in the 5th inning. He's now batting .357 (15-42) with 4 2B and 4 RBI over the streak - the 4th Red Wings hitting streak of 10-plus games this season. Bernier had a career-high 11-game streak with Rochester last season...Bernier's 46 RBI lead the Wings and tie his career-high from last season between Rochester and Minnesota
