Torrington Titans News Release

The North Shore Navigators (18-27) and the Torrington Titans (24-21) both threatened with rallies, but it was the North Shore Navigators that eventually took advantage of them in a 6-4 win at Fuessenich Park.

It was a good day at the plate for the Torrington Titans' Joe Paparelli. Paparelli went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Ryan McAuliffe recorded his first win of the year for the North Shore Navigators. He allowed three runs over five innings. McAuliffe struck out three, walked two and gave up eight hits.

Brett Susi couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Torrington Titans, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
