Voth struck out seven different Richmond batters, including six in the first three innings, but allowed three runs on four hits in his five innings of work. Zach Kroenke provided two innings of relief, in which he worked around two hits and three walks to allow just a single run. Derek Self allowed a double and a run later in the eighth inning on a wild pitch, extending Richmond's lead to three.
