Capital City Dance Team Auditions Scheduled for August 23

Austin, TX (July 29, 2014) - The Austin Toros are looking for new members to join the 2014-2015 Capital City Dance Team. Auditions for the Capital City Dance Team will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23. After the first round of auditions, interviews will be scheduled with selected participants for Sunday Aug. 24. Finalists will be invited to training camp the week of Aug. 25.
To help aspiring dancers prepare for auditions, Balance Dance Studio will hold prep classes on Monday, Aug. 11 and Monday, Aug. 18. More information on prep class can be found at www.austintoros.com .
The Capital City Dancers perform at all Toros home games and various community events. Interested candidates must be at least 18 years old with some prior dance or cheer experience. Candidates must be able to commit to all required practices and the Toros home game schedule. The registration fee is $25 for pre-registration (before Aug. 20), and $35 for registration on the day of auditions. The required registration forms can be found on our website www.austintoros.com .
