LET'S PLAY TWO : The Sea Dogs and Reading Fightin Phils continue their four-game series with a twinbill on Tuesday night at Hadlock Field...Portland is 5-1-3 in doubleheaders this season - their only loss on July 9th at Binghamton...With a win in game one, the 'Dogs will go 30 games over .500 for the second time this season, with a sweep, they'll improve to 31 games over .500 for the first time since 1995...Portland needs just one more win at home this season to clinch winning record at Hadlock Field.
27 UP, 27 DOWN...KINDA : RHP Mike Augliera (5-9) tossed eight scoreless frames on two hits and four strikeouts and LHP Robby Scott closed out the win with a perfect ninth, as the Sea Dogs took the opener from the Fightin Phils, 2-0 on Monday night...Augliera and Scott faced the minimum 27 batters, receiving double plays in the fourth and eighth innings...C Blake Swihart had a one-out homer in the first and David Chester led off the second with his fifth homer of the season...Portland has won five straight games from Reading and 11 of 15 on the season.
