Chang Activated, Winker to Disabled List

PENSACOLA, Fla. - Blue Wahoos infielder Ray Chang has been activated from the disabled list. In a corresponding move, Blue Wahoos outfielder Jesse Winker has been placed on the DL with a right wrist sprain.

Winker hasn't played since July 17 due to the injury. In 21 games since his promotion from High-A Bakersfield, he has hit .208 with two home runs and eight RBI. He entered the season ranked as the No. 4 prospect in the Reds system according to Baseball America.

Chang has played in 31 games with the Blue Wahoos through multiple stints with the club this season. He has hit .259 with 11 RBI. In the month of June he hit .440 (11-for25) over 10 games.

Chang is active for Thursday's game against the BayBears.
