FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville SwampDogs lost to the Kernersville Bulldogs 8-3 Wednesday night at J.P. Riddle Stadium.
The exhibition game saw three SwampDogs position players see action on the mound in Kam Stewart (Frostburg State), Jason Blum (Southeast Missouri State) and Norm Donkin (Delaware). Pitcher Bennett Schiltz (Midland) started the game at catcher and outfielder David LaFleur (LSU Eunice) got the start at second base.
The SwampDogs will be back in action Thursday night as they host the Columbia Blowfish at 7:05 pm. It's the 10th annual Family Fun Night and FunGo Bobblehead giveaway powered by Bob 96.5 FM. For tickets and more information, call the SwampDogs offices at 426-5900.
