Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - Impact U23 midfielder Louis Béland-Goyette was selected to the Canadian U20 team to participate in the 2014 Dale Farm Milk Cup, taking place from July 27 to August 1 in Northern Ireland.
Canada will open the competition against Mexico on Monday, July 28. Two days later, the team will take on China before wrapping things up against Northern Ireland on August 1.
The selection will play this four-team tournament as Canada is preparing for the CONCACAF U20 Championship, which will lead to the FIFA U20 World Cup, in New Zealand in 2015.
Béland-Goyette was invited by the Canadian U20 team for the first time last May for a training camp in Sunrise, Florida.
