Sinitsyn Signs with KHL's Dynamo Moscow

Regina, Saskatchewan - Regina Pats Senior VP and General Manager Chad Lang announced today Pats import defenceman Dmitry Sinitsyn has signed a professional contract with the KHL's Dynamo Moscow.
Sinitsyn was the Pats' 16th Overall selection in the 2013 CHL Import Draft and played his first WHL season in 2013-14. The Moscow, RUS product suited up for 69 games while posting 44 points (10G, 34A) to lead the Pats defence in scoring over his rookie campaign. His 44 points were tenth among WHL rookies and third among rookie defenders. That performance led the Pats defender to be named the Pats' Rookie of the Year.
Drafted in the 7th round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Dallas Stars, Sinitsyn attended Dallas' Development Camp in Frisco, TX July 9th-12th.
Including Sinitsyn, the Pats currently have three import players on their roster with the other two slots being held by German forward Maximilian Kammerer and Russian defender Sergey Zborovsky.
