Indianapolis Indians News Release

COLUMBUS, OH -- Manager Dean Treanor became just the seventh skipper in team history to amass 300 wins as the Indianapolis Indians (56-47) erased a four-run deficit and downed the Columbus Clippers (54-49) 7-5 on Sunday night at Huntington Park.

Robert Andino singled home the tying and go-ahead runs in the top of the eighth after a Giovanny Urshela error at third base extended the inning. Andino's base hit plated Chris McGuiness and Mel Rojas Jr., who both knocked singles of their own to open the frame.

Brent Morel homered in the sixth as part of his two-hit, three-run effort, and prior to the Tribe swapping a run with Columbus in the fourth on Chase d'Arnaud's RBI double, the Indians' center fielder kept the score 4-1 by robbing Matt Carson of a homer with a highlight-reel, over-the-fence catch.

Indians starter Casey Sadler was nicked for four runs in a 30-pitch first inning. However, the right-hander settled down to allow just one additional run with eight punchouts over his six total frames.

Closer Andy Oliver worked a scoreless eighth and ninth for his 12th save. Chris McGuiness homered in the top of the ninth for an added insurance run.
