Charlotte Knights News Release
(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) - RHP Taylor Thompson, who posted an impressive 2-0 record with a 2.61 ERA and six saves over 31 appearances for the Charlotte Knights this season, had his contract purchased by the Chicago White Sox today. Thompson takes the White Sox roster spot of infielder Carlos Sanchez, who was optioned back to Charlotte after last night's White Sox game. Thompson takes the 40-man roster spot of Felipe Paulino, who was transferred to the 60-day disabled list.
Thompson becomes the 12th Knights player to go from Charlotte to Chicago this year.
