SOUTH BEND, IN - The Peoria Chiefs tied the game in the fourth and won it with the help of two errors in beating the South bend Silver Hawks 2-1 in ten innings Saturday night. The win snaps a three-game losing streak and moves the Chiefs to 17-11 in the second half and 54-43 overall.
The hosts jumped out to an early lead as the first two batters collected hits against Luis Perdomo. Taylor stole second but Perdomo retired the next three batters to get out of the inning down 1-0.
