RHP J.B. Wendelken activated from seven-day disabled list

The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster move affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:

- RHP J.B. Wendelken activated from seven-day disabled list

Wendelken will start in Winston-Salem's series opener at Frederick on Saturday. In 18 starts with the Dash, Wendelken is 5-7 with a 5.02 earned run average. He has worked 98.2 innings this season after a combined 100.1 frames as a reliever in his first two Minor League seasons.

Winston-Salem's roster stands at 25 players, the Carolina League maximum.

Also, please note that RHP Raul Fernandez will not be placed on the Dash's active roster until Monday. The White Sox claimed Fernandez from Colorado on Wednesday.
