Injury Update: Fred Stamps and Marcus Howard

(Edmonton) - During yesterday's game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Fred Stamps sustained a hit to the chest late in the fourth quarter. Following the game, he was taken to hospital for precautionary tests after experiencing shortness of breath. Stamps was released from hospital and returned to Edmonton this morning where he will continue to be monitored by team medical staff.

Eskimo defensive end Marcus Howard sustained a broken thumb on his left hand. He is out indefinitely.
