Cyclones Announce 2014 Preseason Schedule

July 17, 2014 - ECHL (ECHL)
Cincinnati Cyclones News Release

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today their 2014 Preseason Schedule.

Reunited as North Division rivals in 2014-15, the Cyclones will face the Wheeling Nailers in a pair of games for a preseason tune-up. On Friday, October 10, Cincinnati will visit WesBanco Arena followed by a home contest at U.S. Bank Arena on Saturday, October 11. The puck drop for both match-ups is set for at 7:35pm.

Cyclones Season Ticket Holders will be able to enjoy the home preseason tilt on October 11 free of charge. The general public will be able to purchase seats for only $5. Tickets will go on sale for this game at a later date, which will be announced soon.

Both clubs are looking to carry over success from last season; the Cyclones were crowned Eastern Conference Champions while the Nailers advanced past the opening round for the first time since the 2011 playoff year. Although Cincinnati and Wheeling will both be battling for North Division supremacy, they'll only meet a total of four times during the regular season.

The countdown to the 2014-15 First Face-Off is underway! The Cyclones will return for another season of hockey at U.S. Bank Arena on Saturday, October 25 when they play host to the Kalamazoo Wings at 7:30pm. Fans can also get the latest team updates throughout the offseason on Facebook and Twitter (@CincyCyclones).
