Generals Lose In a Tight One

Victoria Generals News Release
Victoria, TX - Generals lose tonight to the Brazos Valley Bombers by a score of 1-0. Ryan Benitez started tonight for the Generals, he would pitch 6 innings allowing 0 runs and striking out 8.
There was no scoring until the top of the 8 th inning when Logan Nottebrok hit a RBI single for the Bombers to make the score 1-0. Which would be all the Bombers needed to win the game and split the series with the Generals.
The loss tonight makes the TCL Standings tied at the top between these two teams for the 2 nd half of the season.
Generals go on the road tomorrow to Dallas, as they will start a 2 game series against the Texas Marshals. Your Generals will be back at Riverside Stadium next Thursday after a long road trip, they will face off against the Woodlands Strykers July 24 th . A perfect night to come out to the ballpark for Victoria Harley Davidson Bike Night and Thirsty Thursday, we hope to see you there!
