LHP Jacob Lindgren to Join Tampa Yankees

Tampa, Fla. - The Tampa Yankees announced, Wednesday, that 2014 Second Round Draft Pick, LHP Jacob Lindgren has been added to the active 25-man roster. He was selected 55th overall in the First-Year Player Draft out of Mississippi State University. He signed with the Yankees on June 15, 2014.

Lindgren has played in five games for the GCL Yankees and the Single-A Charleston RiverDogs combined. He has a 1.50 ERA over six innings pitched with 13 strikeouts. He's given up three hits and one earned run.

In addition, 2013 First Round Draft Pick, Eric Jagielo is being activated from the DL to re-join the Tampa Yankees. Other roster moves for the team inlcude the addition of RHP Taylor Garrison, RHP Brady Lail and LHP Caleb Smith. OF Jake Cave, RHP Nick Rumbelow and RHP Luis Severino were promoted to the Double-A Trenton Thunder. RHP Stefan Lopez was transferred to the Single-A Charleston RiverDogs.
