Barons Welcome M-Braves to Regions Field During Promotion Packed Homestand

Birmingham, AL - The Barons return to Regions Field on Wednesday, July 16th to begin a five-game series against the Mississippi Braves, the Double-A Affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. The Barons are coming off a tremendous July 4th homestand that included their fifth sellout of the season. The Barons lead the Southern League in total attendance through 45 home games (292, 753) and average (6,506) and are ahead of the 45-game pace set during the Inaugural Season at Regions Field in 2013 (255,421) and 1994, the franchise's highest attended season (287,102).
The homestand kicks off with AAA Wednesday at Regions Field where fans can get $2 off admission by showing their AAA card. This season-long promotion is presented by AAA of Alabama.
The fun continues with Thirsty Thursday presented by Miller Lite, Woodbridge and Buffalo Wild Wings where fans can enjoy 16 oz. beverages including select beer, wine and soda for just $2! There will be a special pre-game concert in the Courtyard featuring "Cardinal' starting at 5:30 PM presented by Birmingham Mountain Radio and Tin Roof. Thursday is also St. Patrick's Day in July at Regions Field where fans are encouraged to wear green and participate in special St. Patrick's Day themed promotions throughout the game.
The Barons kick-off the weekend on Friday with a special post-game fireworks show presented by Coca-Cola and Alabama Power. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a Clown Nose courtesy of the Ringling Brothers.
During Saturday's game, fans will be entertained by special performer B-Boy McCoy as part of the Red Diamond & Barber's Entertainers Series. The first 1,000 kids in attendance during Saturday's game will receive a special camouflage Kids Jersey courtesy of Coca-Cola. The Good People Brewery Concert Series also returns on Saturday featuring "Nathan Peek and the New Thread' starting at 5:00 PM in the Courtyard. In addition, one lucky fan will win agrill during the game courtesy of All-South Appliance.
The homestand wraps up with Salute To Armed Forces Saturday presented by DRASH and NAPA where the Barons will wear special camouflage uniforms asthey pay tribute to the men and women of the United States armed forces. Sunday is also YP Day at Regions Field.
