Lynx to Host Faith and Family Night on July 13

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the annual Faith and Family Night will be held during Sunday afternoon's game against the Seattle Storm (2:00 p.m. CDT start). Fans are encouraged to come to the game with their youth groups, sports teams, family members and friends for an afternoon of exciting basketball and fellowship.
Following the fourth meeting of the season between the Lynx and the Storm, the Faith and Family Night activities will begin and include a talk from motivational speaker Steve Fitzhugh. The former Denver Broncos player is also a champion for youth and humorist. Lynx forward Maya Moore and guard Monica Wright will also participate, discussing their personal stories and what faith and family means to them. Entering the afternoon matchup with Seattle, the two-time WNBA champion Lynx sit in second in the Western Conference with a 15-6 record, including a league-leading 8-1 mark at home.
