Bryan-College Station, TX (July 8, 2014) - The Brazos Valley Bombers' Cody Brannon was awarded TCL Pitcher of the Week honors Monday for his July 4th outing against the Victoria Generals.

The redshirt junior out of the University of Texas-San Antonio went seven scoreless innings in the game, giving up just three hits and two walks while striking out 11. Brannon has a 2.16 ERA through five appearances this season- four of them starts- and has struck out 28 batters in 25 innings of work.
