Jersey Shore BlueClaws News Release
LAKEWOOD, NJ - The BlueClaws have added a special post-game fireworks show following the game on Monday, July 28th, which also includes an autograph signing with Hall of Fame pitcher Gaylord Perry!
The fireworks show, the biggest, brightest, most colorful show at the Shore, follows that night's BlueClaws game, which starts at 7:05 pm.
During the game, Perry, inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1991, will sign autographs for fans on the concourse.
About BlueClaws Autograph Signings: Signings are limited to one item per person. The line forms when the gates open at 6:00 pm and Perry will sign autographs when the game starts at 7:05 pm. There is no additional purchase necessary beyond a game ticket for an autograph.
Perry, a 5-time All-Star, had a 22-year big league career with eight different teams (mostly the Giants, for whom he pitched from 1962-1971) over which he won 311 games. He was the first player to win the Cy Young Award in both leagues, winning for the 1972 Indians and the 1978 Padres (he has been joined in this exclusive club by Pedro Martinez, Roger Clemens, Randy Johnson, and Roy Halladay).
TICKETS - For tickets to this or any other BlueClaws game, call 732-901-7000 option 2.
The BlueClaws are the Jersey Shore's top stop for affordable, family entertainment. They have led the South Atlantic League in attendance in all 13 years of existence and this year will become the fastest team in New Jersey and South Atlantic League history to reach the 6-million fan plateau.
