Rowdies and United World Soccer Host Free Tailgate Party Prior to July 12 Game

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.(July 7, 2014) - Rowdies fans, arrive early on Saturday, July 12 because before the Tampa Bay Rowdies take on the Atlanta Silverbacks on opening night of the NASL Fall Season, the place to be will be in the Al Lang Stadium parking lot at a blowout tailgate party, presented by United World Soccer.

The party will start at 5 p.m. and will include FREE food, beer, soft drinks and live entertainment for all Rowdies fans while supplies last. United World Soccer will also provide live entertainment, 1,000 t-shirts and other amazing prizes.

"We want to give the fans a great party with live entertainment, food, drinks, free tee shirts, and cool prizes," United World Soccer's Tom Traxler said. "We couldn't think of a better setting for this event than right out in front of Al Lang Stadium. It's going to be a party before the game and then the party carries on as we all watch cheer on the Rowdies as they take on the Atlanta Silverbacks."

Revel with other green-and-gold supporters until 7 p.m. before taking the party inside Al Lang Stadium as the Rowdies kick off their Fall campaign and run to The Championship on the newly-installed field. Ricky Hill's squad found its rhythm toward the end of the Spring Season and is now ready to duel all challengers in an exciting Fall season.
