Mace's Faces Returns for Second Year
July 3, 2014 - Canadian Football League (CFL)
Calgary Stampeders News Release
The Calgary Stampeder Football Club and MEG Energy are proud to support defensive lineman Corey Mace for the second season of the Mace's Faces program.
Through this program, 15 clients from Enviros - a Calgary-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of family life in Alberta - will be the special guests of Mace at every Stampeders home game in 2014.
"The first year of Mace's Faces was a great success and I look forward to more of the same in Year 2," said Mace, a five-year member of the Stampeders. "From my work as an Enviros counselor, I know how much it means for these young people to get a chance to attend a Stampeders game and I'm just as excited to have them there.
"This program means very much to me and I thank both the Stampeders and MEG Energy for their continued support."
Thanks to MEG Energy's financial contributions and their support of Corey's vision for the program, each of the young fans will receive not only a game ticket but also a cap and T-shirt as well as the opportunity to visit with Mace after the contest.
