Grizzlies Issue 6 Qualifying Offers for 2014-2015

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach/General Manager Tim Branham today issued six players qualifying offers for the 2014- 2015 season.
Goaltender
Aaron Dell: 19- 7- 3 with Grizzlies, 2.14 goals- against average and .920 save percentage in 2013- 2014. Ranked 4th in ECHL in goaltending.
Forwards
Danick Paquette: 23 goals, 49 points and 277 penalty minutes as assistant captain in 2013- 2014.
Jamie MacQueen: 19 goals, 13 assists, 32 points in 36 games with Grizzlies in 2013- 2014.
David Vallorani: Utah's leading scorer with 24 goals, 35 assists and 59 points in 69 games in 2013- 2014.
Vinny Scarsella: Utah's Rookie of the Year in 2013- 2014 with 13 goals and 26 assists.
Defensemen
Brendan Jamison: Played 51 games as Grizzlies rookie in 2013- 2014.
Each ECHL team was entitled to reserve the rights to a maximum of eight qualified players from the 2014- 2015 season.
The qualifying offer will remain open for acceptance until August 1 at which time the qualifying offer becomes null and void and the team may sign the qualified player to any salary or may elect to take no further action. Teams that extend a valid qualifying offer to a non- veteran player shall retain the rights to that qualified player for one playing season. All players qualified by Utah are non- veterans.
The Grizzlies open the 2014- 2015 regular season at Maverik Center against the Idaho Steelheads on Friday, October 17 at 7 p.m.
