Rain Postpones Monday's Bucks-Honkers Evening Tilt

Waterloo, Iowa - Monday's game between the Waterloo Bucks and the Rochester Honkers at renovated Riverfront Stadium has been postponed due to rain and unplayable field conditions. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader at 6:05 pm on Friday, July 4. That contest will feature two seven-inning games. One admission ticket is good for both games of the doubleheader.
One dollar admission coupons for Monday's game will be valid for Wednesday, July 2 when the Bucks will face the Eau Claire Express at 6:35 pm. All game tickets for Monday's contest may be exchanged at the Riverfront Stadium Ticket Window for one of equal value for any subsequent regular season game (subject to availability). Gates for that contest will open at 5:30 pm.
Earlier today, the Bucks defeated Rochester at Mayo Field by the score of 6-5 as part of a regularly scheduled home-and-home split-doubleheader. With tonight's rainout, that was the final game of the first half of Northwoods League play, giving the Bucks a 24-11 record and second place finish in the North Division. The Bucks return home to begin the second half of NWL play with a three-game homestand on Wednesday. For more information, call the Bucks' Ticket Line at (319) 232-5633.
