Philadelphia Soul News Release

PHILADELPHIA (June 24, 2014) - The Back-to-Back American Conference Champion Philadelphia Soul and the Arena Football League announce the return of offensive linemen, Wayne Tribue (6'3, 330, Temple), for the remainder of the 2014 season. The rookie returns to finish out the 2014 season after participating in training camp with the Montreal Alouettes (CFL).

"It is always great when a player like Wayne returns to our team," states head coach Clint Dolezel. "He boosts our team to an even higher talent level and we are fortunate to get him back right before the playoff push."

The All-Rookie team candidate started in 11-of-15 games with the Soul in the 2014 season. He has been a strong member of the offensive line that allowed the second fewest sacks in the AFL so far and has also recorded two touchdowns. The rookie lineman participated in both Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints practice squad in 2012, as well as the San Francisco 49ers camp in 2013.

Tribue played in all 12 games with nine starts at left guard in 2008 and received more starts than any other freshman at Temple. In 2009, he played in 13 games with five starts and was awarded MVP as well as Most Improved Player. He played in 11 games with four starts at left guard and two starts at center in 2010. During his senior year in 2011, he appeared in all 13 games at right guard and was one of nine to start every game. His high-school career at Central York High School, York, PA included earning All-Metro second team All-State and first-team offensive tackle team All-County.
