Brampton Beast News Release

Throughout the week the Beast attended the Brampton Motorcycle Association's weekly "Motorcycle Monday's" as well as Somerset Public School's Grade 5 Fun Fair. Both events were a great opportunity for kids and families alike to interact with players, staff and the team mascot Boomer.

On Friday June 20th the team hosted a meet and greet for new Beast signing Andrew Darrigo at Kelsey's restaurant in Brampton. Darrigo signed autographs, chatted with friends and enjoyed a fun filled evening with fans.

Saturday June 21st marked the opening of Brampton's Farmers Market. The Farmers Market will take place every Saturday from 7am until 1pm. The Beast was in front of City Hall with Boomer handing out free giveaways and taking part of various activities. The Beast plans to be there on a weekly basis so be sure to visit the team tent.

The following day, Andrew Darrigo and Beast staff attended Halton Hills Ball Hockey League's Closing Day. It was a great day of excitement and the Beast was happy to support local hockey. "It's always great to support hockey at the grassroots level and the Beast look forward to building a relationship with these youth organizations," explained Andy Rawlinko from the Brampton Beast. Following the event, the Beast attended Catholic Family Services of Dufferin Peel's High Tea. Plenty of families came out and enjoyed an afternoon of fun and entertainment. Team Mascot Boomer operated the kids room and was well received by all.

You can catch the Brampton Beast this week at the following events:

06/28 Farmers Market 7:00am-1:00pm City Hall (Downtown Brampton)
