Comets and ATC Partnering for Triathlon Series

Coming this July, the Utica Comets and ATC Endurance will partner together for series of multisport events for kids and adults in the Mohawk Valley. The Utica Comets Triathlon Series presented by ATC Endurance will begin on Saturday, July 19 with the TOUGHKids Delta Lake Triathlon.
The Delta Lake Sprint and Intermediate Distance Triathlon will be held on Sunday, July 20 and the Old Forge Triathlon will take place on August 17. The dates for the 2015 Utica Comets Triathlon Series presented by ATC Endurance will be announced at a later date but will also include events at Vernon Downs and Cooperstown.
"Helping promote physical fitness and nutrition here in the Mohawk Valley is something the Utica Comets strongly believe in," said Comets President Robert Esche. "Like our players, the athletes that compete in these events are dedicated and committed to their health and we are thrilled to be a part of these great events."
ATC Endurance was founded in 2009 and is a full service race management company based out of New York Mills. The events in this series not only give an opportunity for local residents to train and compete but it showcases what Central New York has to offer to the athletes and their families who travel in from outside the area.
"The support of the Utica Comets means so much to ATC Endurace races because each organization shares the same values, not least of which is that of showcasing this region, and demonstrating to the folks who travel here what we can all accomplish when working together," said Michael Brych, President of ATC Endurance. "Triathletes train to the peak of fitness to compete, and having the support of a team like the Utica Comets, who surely perform at the highest level of their sport, will give our athletes an added boost out on the race course."
