Today's Game: The RedHawks close out their four game series with the Salt Lake Bees at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Oklahoma City leads the series, 2-1, and is trying for their first series win against the Bees since 2009.

Last Game: Matt Duffy drilled a double in the bottom of the ninth inning to score Domingo Santana from first base in a 7-6 walk-off win for the RedHawks against Salt Lake Wednesday afternoon. The RedHawks built a 3-1 lead before the Bees responded with five straight runs to take a 6-3 advantage in the top of the eighth. Pinch-hitter Marc Krauss tied the game, 6-6, with a three-run homer with two outs in the bottom of the eighth. Santana singled with one out in the ninth before Duffy followed with his game-winning hit. Duffy finished 3-for-4 and hit a two-run homer earlier in the game to give OKC a 2-1 lead in the third inning. A RBI single by Kiké Hernandez in the fourth made it a 3-1 RedHawks edge. Salt Lake tied the game in the top of the sixth and then took a 5-3 lead in the seventh on a RBI single by Tommy Field and RBI triple by Efren Navarro--his second of the game. Roberto Lopez homered to push the Bees lead to 6-3 in the eighth. Kevin Chapman (1-0) pitched a scoreless ninth to earn his first win with the RedHawks in 2014.

Today's Probable Pitcher: David Martinez (5-3) tries for a team-leading sixth win when he takes the mound tonight...In his last start June 6 at Omaha, Martinez scattered three singles over six scoreless innings. He retired 18 of 22 hitters, including 14 of the final 15 he faced. However, he had to settle no decision after the RedHawks could not hold onto a late lead...Over his last three starts, Martinez has compiled a 1.89 ERA (4 ER/19.0 IP) and is holding opponents to a .182 average. He has pitched at least six innings each time out, something he had not done this season until the recent roll...The RedHawks are 6-3 in his nine starts, including wins in five of his last seven starts...He's excelled on the road, going 4-1 with a 2.25 ERA and holding opponents to a .203 average, but has struggled in OKC with a 6.63 ERA and a .315 opponent average...Regardless of location, he has held opponents to a .178 average with runners in scoring position, including 3-for-21 when there are two outs...Martinez also does a good job keeping the ball in the park, allowing just two homers in 55.0 IP this season...He was named the 2013 Astros Minor League Pitcher of the Year after going a combined 14-4 with a 2.57 ERA between Double-A Corpus Christi and the RedHawks. He also named 2013 Texas League Pitcher of the Year.

Against the Bees: 2014: 2-1 2013: 1-3 All-time: 39-44 In OKC: 24-19

Including yesterday, four of the last 10 meetings between these teams have ended with a walk-off win for the home team...Tonight the RedHawks aim to win a series, as well as consecutive games, against the Bees for the first time since 2009...The RedHawks and Bees last met May 11-14, 2013 in OKC. The Bees won the first three games before the RedHawks won the series finale on a walk-off RBI single by Austin Wates. Salt Lake outscored the RedHawks, 20-12, in the series...Before OKC won the 2013 series finale, the Bees had won nine straight games against the RedHawks going back to 2011...Salt Lake won the last three season series between the teams, going a combined 10-2...In fact, the RedHawks have finished with a winning record against the Bees just three times in 16 seasons...Seven of the last 11 games between the teams have been decided by two runs or less, including five by a one-run margin.

Duff Man...Oh Yeah!: Matt Duffy stayed hot at the plate Wednesday, going 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and a game-winning RBI double. Duffy joined the RedHawks on May 28 and went just 1-for-23 through his first eight games. Since then he has gone 8-for-17 in his last five games with five home runs, nine RBI and five runs scored. He has gone deep five times over his last four games, accounting for over half of his nine hits with OKC.

In a Pinch: Marc Krauss' pinch-hit homer yesterday was the first of his career and the first for the RedHawks since Brad Snyder hit one Aug. 14, 2012 against Fresno. It also marked the first RBIs by a RedHawks pinch hitter this season (16 AB's).

Offensive Awakening: One day after being held to four hits in a shutout loss, the RedHawks tallied seven runs and 11 hits Wednesday. They've now collected at least 11 hits four times in their past five games, and even including Tuesday's loss, they are batting .301 (50x166) over the five games combined.

Tuckering Out the Texas League: Outfielder Preston Tucker will join the RedHawks today after being promoted from Double-A Corpus Christi. Tucker was recently named a Texas-League All-Star and currently leads the league in home runs (17), RBI (43), extra-base hits (34), runs scored (41), and total bases (140). In addition, he ranks second in the league with 72 hits, and third with both 17 doubles and a .536 slugging percentage...In a corresponding move, the Astros traded RedHawks outfielder Adron Chambers to Toronto in exchange for minor league pitcher Alejandro Solarte and infielder Will Dupont.

Chapping the Competition: After another scoreless outing yesterday, RedHawks reliever Kevin Chapman lowered his ERA to 0.86. Chapman has not been scored upon in 14 of his last 16 outings, and he has given up just two unearned runs during that time.

Dinger Details: Roberto Lopez's home run for Salt Lake Wednesday marked the first time the RedHawks have allowed home runs in three straight games since April 25-27 vs. Nashville. They entered the series not having allowed a dinger in 14 consecutive home games...Nashville is now tied with the RedHawks for the fewest home runs allowed in the league this season (43). The RedHawks are also tied for the second-best home run differential in the PCL with New Orleans, as they've hit 21 more than they've allowed (Las Vegas leads at +39).

The Other Guys: The RedHawks are in the midst of a stretch of 16 straight games against Pacific Conference opponents, going 2-1 so far. Last season they went 19-13 against Pacific Conference teams, including 13-3 at home. All three losses were to Salt Lake.
