GAME 5 - KELLY CUP FINALS

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: After three hard fought games in Anchorage, the Kelly Cup Finals returns to Cincinnati tonight as the Cyclones look to pull even in this best-of-seven series with a win in Game 4. Since 2007, the Clones are 4-2 in Finals tilts at U.S. Bank Arena.

SCOUTING THE ACES: Rob Murray's club earned its second shutout of the postseason, albeit in controversial fashion. Jordan Morrison, who scored the game-winner late in regulation, has earned points in four of his last five contests. Overall this postseason, he's earned eight goals and four assists. The Aces leading playoff scorer, Nick Mazzolini, has been held off the scoresheet in two consecutive games for the first time since the start of the run but does still own 28 points (10g, 18a) in 18 tilts. Gerald Coleman posted 30 saves to earn his eighth win of the playoffs. He's now 8-3 with a 1.23 goals-against average.

LAST HEAD-TO-HEAD MATCH-UP: JUNE 2, 2014: A controversial play late in regulation set up the game-winning goal by Jordan Morrison as the Aces stole away a 2-0 win from the Cyclones in front of 5,773 at Sullivan Arena. The Alaska victory gave them a 2-1 edge in the best-of-seven Kelly Cup Finals.

Offensive Showdown: The Cyclones and Aces are battling in the Kelly Cup Finals as two of the top offenses in the ECHL this playoff year. Alaska is averaging 3.39 goals-scored per game while Clones are clicking at a 2.90 rate.

Middle Period Muster: The bulk of Cincinnati's offense has come during the second period of games this postseason. Of their 61 goals scored, 26 of them have been in the middle stanza.
