Dalton Thrower Signs with Montreal Canadiens

VANCOUVER, BC - The Vancouver Giants would like to congratulate defenceman Dalton Thrower on signing a three-year entry-level contract with the National Hockey League's Montreal Canadiens.

The Squamish native was drafted in the second-round (51st overall) by the Canadiens in the 2012 National Hockey League Draft.

The 20-year old played four seasons with the Saskatoon Blades before finishing his junior career with the Giants. In his 42 games with Vancouver, he had 39 points (12 goals, 7 assists). Thrower had 147 points (42 goals, 105 assists) in 285 career regular season WHL games.
