Marlies Drop Texas 4-1 in Game Four

Toronto Marlies News Release
The Toronto Marlies defeated the Texas Stars by a score of 4-1 in game four of the Western Conference Final tonight at Ricoh Coliseum. With the win, Toronto has now evened the series at two games apiece.
Toronto would open the scoring for the eleventh consecutive game when Spencer Abbott tallied his first goal of the playoffs on a power play at 1:36. Abbott would notch his second goal of the game on another power play just over four minutes later to give Toronto a 2-0 advantage. The Second Team AHL All-Star would complete his first professional hat trick with his third power play goal of the night coming at 7:05 of the middle frame. Jerry D'Amigo would secure a game four victory for the Marlies with an empty net goal late in regulation. Radek Faksa added the lone Texas goal with less than two minutes to play in the game.
