UNCASVILLE, Conn. (May 12, 2014) - The Connecticut Sun has waived Kalana Greene.
A former UConn star, Greene played three seasons for the Sun, appearing in 101 games with 95 starts. She averaged 5.1 points and 3.7 rebounds last year.
Originally drafted by the New York Liberty with the 13th overall pick in 2010, she was traded to the Sun during the 2011 WNBA Draft in exchange for Connecticut's 16th overall pick, Sydney Colson.
