Shock Waives Nicole Powell

TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa Shock have waived forward Nicole Powell. In 2013, Powell played in 32 games for the Shock, averaging 6.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
Powell was acquired by Tulsa in a three-team trade on March 1, 2013.
In her one preseason game with Tulsa, Powell scored two points and two rebounds.
The roster will be trimmed to 12 players on or before May 15, prior to opening the season on the road in San Antonio on May 17.
