Petes Hiring Community Event Volunteers

(Peterborough, ON, May 7th, 2014)- The Peterborough Petes are excited to announce a new opportunity with the organization this summer. The Petes are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and outgoing individuals to serve as Community Event Volunteers.

The volunteers will assist with planning and executing community-based initiatives in Peterborough and the surrounding area. At the events, volunteers will be responsible for a number of duties including engaging with fans, distributing marketing material, running various activities, assisting with Roger the mascot, and more.

Community Event Volunteers can earn community hours toward their OSSD if desired while gaining experience and connections in the sport industry. Hours will be flexible with the possibility of attending 1-3 events per week.
