Warrior's goaltender Trevor Gorsuch made 31 saves in a losing effort for the Warriors.

Michigan finished the season in 2nd place of the NAHL's North Division entering the Robertson Cup playoffs, but the Warriors swept the Janesville Jets in the first round. The series victory over the Jets set up a match-up against the Port Huron Fighting Falcons in the Division Semi-Finals. Michigan took games 1 and 2 in Port Huron before the Fighting Falcons battled back defeating the Warriors in game #3 of the best-of-five series, but the Warriors defeated Port Huron in game #4 to advance to the Robertson Cup Semi-Finals round against Fairbanks.
