Springfield Falcons Support Upcoming Keep Springfield Beautiful Events

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons and Keep Springfield Beautiful (KSB) have joined forces to encourage community participation in KSB's upcoming Citywide Cleanup and 10K Road Race.

Keep Springfield Beautiful is Western Massachusetts' premier non-profit organization promoting litter and graffiti prevention, recycling, conservation and the beautification of Springfield. The Springfield Falcons have joined forces with KSB to unite and engage all sectors of the community in the creation, execution and promotion of clean, green, sustainable solutions to fight urban blight in Springfield.

The Citywide Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will take place in all 17 neighborhoods of Springfield. For specific cleanup locations, please contact KSB's Director of Operations Mike Cass at (413) 313-2117. For more information on the event, click here.

The 10K Road Race will begin Sunday, May 11 at 9:00 a.m. at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, where registration and sponsor tables will be present. The race will finish at the Hall of Fame as well. For more information, click here.
