Kamloops Blazers News Release

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have acquired 20-year-old defenseman Brady Gaudet from the Red Deer Rebels in exchange for a 2014 third round WHL Bantam pick.

Gaudet rejoins the Blazers after being dealt by the Blazers in October of 2012 for a third round WHL Bantam Draft pick in 2013. The Blazers used that pick to select signed defenseman Dawson Davidson from Moosomin, SK

"Brady is into his fifth WHL season and adds mobility and leadership to our backend," commented General Manager, Craig Bonner. "He is a tremendous individual and he will improve our power play. We are happy to have him back as a Blazer."

Gaudet has played 241 career WHL games putting up 17 goals, 68 assists and 85 points. Last season, Gaudet had five goals and 31 points in 71 games.

He's played 117 career games with the Blazers between 2010 and 2012 where he had seven goals and 34 points.
