Milwaukee Wave News Release

MKE Sports & Entertainment is proud to announce that our Six-Time Champion Milwaukee Wave Professional Soccer Team has officially joined the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL) and will be playing games at U.S. Cellular Arena for the 2014-2015 season.

"We are very excited to announce that Professional Indoor Soccer will be back in Milwaukee this season. I like the PASL economic platform a lot. In the past, the Wave operated like the New York Yankees. PASL puts all teams on a more even playing field. These new operating rules put in place are critical to our financial success. Furthermore parity should create a more exciting on-field product," said Mike Zimmerman.

" I am excited to have a team, with such rich history as the Milwaukee Wave, to enter our growing organization . The 2014/15 season will be a new beginning for every fan, player, and team owner that supports our sport. The most exciting sport at the highest level, will now not only be found coast to coast, but internationally as well, " said PASL Commissioner Kevin Milliken.

"Being a part of this league expansion is epic! Having a field of teams that stretches through all of North America is great for this sport. We are especially looking forward to claiming the Championship cup from the Chicago Mustangs, an instant rivalry in the making," said Sue Black.

The search for a new head coach continues and will be revealed in the coming weeks along with a 2014/15 schedule. MKE Wave Summer Soccer Camp registration continues with over 30 camps in 25 locations. Instructed by the pros you see on field and in our community.
